Bandipora, Oct 30 (NVI): Security forces on Wednesday recovered ammunition and incriminating material during a search operation in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
A Senior Police Officer told News Vibes of India-(NVI) that ammunition, grenade and other suspicious items were recovered in a joint operation by Bandipora Police, Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF’s 3rd Battalion in Manz Mohalla area of SK Bala.
He said that acting on specific intelligence, the security forces conducted a search at the residence of Ishfaq Majeed Dar, son of Abdul Majeed Dar, in SK Bala Ajas, Sumbal.
During the search, a rusted hand grenade, five AK-47 rounds, and five posters linked to the banned terrorist organization LeT were found behind the house, the official said.
An investigation is underway to determine the origins and intentions linked to the materials discovered, he added.(News Vibes of India)
