New Delhi: India registered 10,853 fresh Covid cases and 526 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,60,791 and the country’s active cases now stand at 1,44,845.
Nearly 12,432 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,37,49,900, it said.
Yesterday, the country reported 10,929 new Covid cases and 392 deaths in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, 12,729 fresh COVID-19 cases and 221 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 12,885 new Covid-19 cases and 461 deaths in 24 hours.
The country registered 11,903 fresh Covid cases and 311 fatalities, a day earlier.
The country registered 10,423 Covid cases and 443 Covid deaths in 24 hours, on Tuesday.
During the previous 24 hours, 12,514 new cases and 251 deaths were reported from across the country.
