New Delhi: India registered 11,451 fresh Covid cases and 266 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,61,057 while the active cases now stand at 1,42,826, the lowest in 262 days.
The country’s recovery Rate currently stands at 98.24%, which is the highest since March 2020, the Ministry said.
Nearly 13,204 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,37,63,104, it said.
Yesterday, the government reported registration of 10,853 fresh covid cases and 526 fatalities in the previous 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, 10,929 new cases and 392 deaths were reported from across the country.
A day prior to that, 12,729 fresh COVID-19 cases and 221 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
On Thursday last, the country recorded 12,885 new Covid-19 cases and 461 deaths in 24 hours.
The country registered 11,903 fresh Covid cases and 311 fatalities, a day earlier.
The country registered 10,423 Covid cases and 443 Covid deaths in 24 hours, on Tuesday last.
