New Delhi (NVI): India reported 1,73,790 new COVID-19 cases and 3,617 deaths in last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The total death toll now is 3,22,512 while the cumulative active cases are 22,28,724, the Ministry said.
Yesterday, India reported a substantial drop in single day Covid-19 numbers, with 1,86,364 cases being recorded in a span of 24 hours, compared to 2,11,298 recorded the previous day during the same period.
The Union Health Ministry also reported 3,660 deaths yesterday in the previous 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country reported 2,08,921 new single day Covid-19 cases along with 4,157 deaths.
On Tuesday, the reported number of single day Covid cases in India were 1,96,427.
On Monday, 4,454 new single day fatalities were reported along with 2,22,315 fresh cases.
The country recorded 2,40,842 new Covid-19 cases & 3,741 deaths in a span of 24 hours on Sunday.
