New Delhi: India registered 1,778 fresh Covid cases and 62 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,16,605.
The active cases across the country stand at 0.05%, taking the total active caseload to 23,087.
Nearly 2,542 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,24,73,057, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.26% and weekly positivity rate at 0.36%
Around 181.89 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far across the country, the Ministry said.
