India records 35,499 new COVID19 cases, 447 deaths

COVID-19 threatens people with heart diseases, as winter hints at a second wave

New Delhi: India recorded 35,499 fresh COVID-19 cases and 447 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.

With this increase, the total active cases now are 4,02,188 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,28,309.

Nearly 39,686 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,11,39,457, the Health Ministry said.

Yesterday, the country recorded 39,070 fresh COVID-19 cases and 491 deaths in 24 hours.

On Saturday, the country recorded 38,628 COVID-19 cases and 617 deaths in 24 hours.

On Friday, the country recorded 44,643 COVID-19 cases and 464 deaths in 24 hours.

On Thursday, the country recorded 42,982 COVID-19 cases and 533 deaths in 24 hours.

On Wednesday, the country recorded 42,625 COVID-19 cases and 562 deaths in 24 hours.

On Tuesday, the country recorded 30,549 cases and 422 deaths in 24 hours.
