New Delhi: India recorded 37,875 fresh COVID-19 cases and 369 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,91,256 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,41,411, the ministry said.
Nearly 39,114 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,22,64,051.
Yesterday, the country recorded 31,222 fresh COVID-19 cases and 290 deaths in 24 hours.
The previous day report said 38,948 COVID-19 cases and 219 deaths were registered in 24 hours.
The country recorded 42,766 fresh COVID-19 cases and 308 deaths in 24 hours on Sunday.
Nearly 42,618 fresh COVID-19 cases and 330 deaths were reported from across the country in 24 hours, a day earlier.
At least 45,352 fresh COVID-19 cases and 366 deaths were recorded in the country in 24 hours on Friday last.
On Thursday last, the country recorded 47,092 COVID-19 cases and 509 deaths in 24 hours.
