New Delhi: India recorded 43,263 fresh COVID-19 cases and 338 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,93,614 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,41,749, the ministry said.
Nearly 40,567 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,23,04,618.
A total of 71,65,97,428 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far, with the inoculation of over 86,51,701 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the country recorded 37,875 fresh COVID-19 cases and 369 deaths in 24 hours.
The country recorded 31,222 fresh COVID-19 cases and 290 deaths in 24 hours on Tuesday.
The previous day report said 38,948 COVID-19 cases and 219 deaths were registered in 24 hours.
The country recorded 42,766 fresh COVID-19 cases and 308 deaths in 24 hours on Sunday.
Nearly 42,618 fresh COVID-19 cases and 330 deaths were reported from across the country in 24 hours, a day earlier.
At least 45,352 fresh COVID-19 cases and 366 deaths were recorded in the country in 24 hours on Friday last.
