New Delhi: India recorded 43,393 fresh COVID-19 cases and 911 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the country has gone up to 4,58,727 while the cumulative death toll has reached 4,05,939.
Nearly 44,459 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 2,98,88,284, the Health Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 45,892 new COVID-19 cases and 817 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 43,733 new COVID-19 cases and 930 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 34,703 new COVID-19 cases and 553 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 39,796 new COVID-19 cases and 723 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 43,071 new COVID-19 cases and 955 deaths in 24 hours.
