New Delhi: India recorded 42,766 new Covid cases while the single day deaths saw an increase of nearly 300.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 1206 Covid patients died in last 24 hours.
In the previous 24 hours, 911 Covid deaths were reported.
With this increase, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the country has gone up to 4,55,033 while the cumulative death toll has reached 4,07,145.
Nearly 45,254 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 2,99,33,538, the Health Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 43,393 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 45,892 new COVID-19 cases and 817 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 43,733 new COVID-19 cases and 930 deaths in 24 hours
On Tuesday, the country recorded 34,703 new COVID-19 cases and 553 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 39,796 new COVID-19 cases and 723 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 43,071 new COVID-19 cases and 955 deaths in 24 hours.
