New Delhi: India registered 43,733 new COVID-19 cases and 930 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
Accordingly, the total number of active coronavirus cases have gone up to 4,59,920 while the cumulative death toll has risen to 4,04,211.
Yesterday, the country recorded 34,703 new COVID-19 cases and 553 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, India reported 39,796 new COVID-19 cases and 723 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country registered 43,071 new cases and 955 deaths in a single day.
On Saturday last, the country recorded 44,111 new COVID-19 cases and 738 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday, the country reported 46,617 new single day cases and 853 deaths.
