India records 45,951 fresh COVID19 cases, 817 deaths

COVID-19 threatens people with heart diseases, as winter hints at a second wave

New Delhi: India recorded 45,951 new COVID19 cases and 817 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.

With this increase, the total Covid death toll has gone up to 3,98,454 while the cumulative active cases are 5,37,064.

Nearly 60,729 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 2,94,27,330, the Health Ministry said.

According to the data available, total of 33,28,54,527 vaccination doses have been administered to the people of India.

Yesterday, the country recorded 37,566 new COVID19 cases and 907 deaths in the last 24 hours.

On Monday, the country recorded 46,148 new COVID19 cases and 979 deaths in the last 24 hours.

On Sunday, the country recorded 50,040 new COVID19 cases and 1,258 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Last Saturday, the country recorded 48,698 new COVID-19 cases and 1,183 deaths in the last 24 hours.

On Friday, the country registered 51,667 new COVID-19 cases and 1,329 deaths in 24 hours.

On Thursday, the country registered 54,069 fresh cases of COVID-19 and 1,321 deaths in 24 hours.
