New Delhi: India has registered less than 1,000 fresh Covid cases after 715 days and the fatalities due to the pandemic have also declined to 13 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Health ministry, 913 new Covid cases have been registered across the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the country’s active caseload has declined to 12,597, constituting 0.03% of the total positive cases.
The cumulative death toll has now risen to 5,21,358.
Nearly 1,316 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,24,95,089, the ministry said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.29% and the weekly positivity rate at 0.22%.
