New Delhi: India recorded 84,332 new single day COVID19 cases, the lowest in 70 days, but the deaths remained on the higher side, with 4,002 fatalities being registered in the last 24 hours.
With this increase, the total death toll has gone up to 3,67,081 while the cumulative active cases are 10,80,690.
Yesterday, the country reported 91,702 new COVID-19 cases and 3,403 deaths in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country reported a big jump in single-day deaths due to coronavirus, with 6148 fatalities being recorded a span of 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country had reported 2219 deaths in 24 hours.
The government also reported 94,052 new single day COVID-19 cases on Thursday, against 92,596 reported on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the country reported 86,498 new corona cases and 2123 deaths in a period of 24 hours.
