New Delhi: India registered 10,197 fresh Covid cases and 301 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,64,153 while the country’s active cases now stand at 1,28,555, which is the lowest in 17 months.
Nearly 12,134 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,38,73,890.
The tally of vaccination has reached 1,13,68,79,685 with 67,82,042 people being inoculated in the last 24 hours.
The country registered 8,865 fresh Covid cases and 197 deaths in 24 hours, a day earlier.
On Monday, the country registered 10,229 fresh Covid cases and 125 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, 11,271 fresh COVID-19 cases and 285 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
Nearly 11,850 fresh Covid cases and 555 fatalities were registered from across the country on Saturday.
On Friday last, the government reported registration of 12,516 fresh covid cases and 501 fatalities in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, 13,091 new cases and 340 deaths were reported from across the country.
