New Delhi: India registered 1,335 fresh Covid cases and 52 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,21,181.
The country’s active caseload has declined to 13,672, constituting 0.03% of the total positive cases.
Nearly 1,918 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,24,90,922, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.22% and weekly positivity rate at 0.23%.
Yesterday, the country registered 1,225 fresh Covid cases and 28 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Tuesday morning, the country registered 1,233 fresh Covid cases and 31 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 1,259 fresh Covid cases and 35 fatalities in 24 hours.
The country registered 1,270 fresh Covid cases and 31 fatalities during the previous 24 hours.
On Sunday morning, the country registered 1,421 fresh cases and 149 fatalities in 24 hours.
