New Delhi: India registered 18,738 fresh Covid cases yesterday in a span of 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said today.
The country’s active caseload stood at 1,34,933 constituting 0.35% of the total Covid cases.
The daily positivity rate stands at 5.02% and the weekly positivity rate is at 4.63%, the Ministry said.

The recovery rate is currently at 98.50%, with 18,558 patients being recovered in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
With this the cumulative recoveries across the country have reached 4,34,84,110, it said.

Around 206.21 crores cumulative vaccine doses have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive, the ministry said.
Yesterday, the country registered 19,406 fresh cases and 49 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday, the government reported registration of 20,551 new Covid cases and 70 deaths during the preceding 24 hours.
