New Delhi: India registered 7,145 fresh Covid cases and 289 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,77,158 while the country’s active cases now stand at 84,565.
Around 8,706 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,41,71,471.
The vaccination figure has reached 1,36,66,05,173 across the country with inoculating 62,06,244 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
Yesterday, the country reported 7,447 fresh Covid cases and 391 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country reported 7,974 new cases in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, the country reported 6,984 fresh Covid cases and 247 deaths.
The country reported 5,784 fresh single-day Covid cases and 252 deaths in 24 hours, a day earlier.
