New Delhi: India recorded 18,132 fresh COVID-19 cases and 193 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 2,27,347 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,50,782, it said.
Nearly 21,563 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,32,93,478.
A total of 95,19,84,373 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far.
Yesterday the country recorded 18,166 new infections cases along with 214 deaths in 24 hours.
The single-day figure reported on Friday was 21,257 along with 271 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
The previous day, the country recorded 22,431 COVID-19 cases and 318 deaths in 24 hours.
A day earlier, the country recorded 18,833 fresh COVID-19 cases and 278 deaths in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, 18,833 fresh COVID-19 cases and 278 deaths were reported in 24 hours.
The previous day, the country reported 18,346 fresh COVID-19 cases and 263 deaths in 24 hours.
