New Delhi: India registered 24,354 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The active caseload of Covid stood at 2,73,889,lowest in 197 days, according to the ministry.
On Thursday, the government reported that the country had recorded 23,529 fresh COVID-19 cases and 311 deaths in the previous 24 hours.
A day earlier, 18,870 fresh COVID-19 cases and 378 deaths were reported in 24 hours.
At least, 18,795 fresh Covid cases and 179 deaths were reported from across the country the previous day.
On Monday, the country reported 26,041 fresh cases in 24 hours.
The previous day report said 28,326 COVID-19 cases and 260 deaths were registered in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, the country recorded 29,616 fresh COVID-19 cases and 290 deaths in 24 hours.
