New Delhi: India recorded 38,628 fresh COVID-19 cases and 617 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 4,12,153 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,27,371.
Nearly 40,017 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,10,55,861, the Health Ministry said.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country stands at 50,10,09,609, it said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 44,643 COVID-19 cases and 464 deaths in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 42,982 COVID-19 cases and 533 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 42,625 COVID-19 cases and 562 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 30,549 cases and 422 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 40,134 fresh COVID-19 cases and 422 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 41,831 cases and 541 deaths in 24 hours.
