New Delhi: India recorded 42,982 fresh COVID-19 cases and 533 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 4,11,076 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,26,290.
Nearly 41,726 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,09,74,748, the Health Ministry said.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country stands at 48,93,42,295, it said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 42,625 COVID-19 cases and 562 deaths in 24 hours
On Tuesday, the country recorded 30,549 cases and 422 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 40,134 fresh COVID-19 cases and 422 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 41,831 cases and 541 deaths in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, 41,649 COVID-19 cases were reported along with 593 deaths in 24 hours from across the country.
On Friday last, the country recorded 44,230 COVID-19 cases and 555 deaths in 24 hours.
