New Delhi: India continues to see decline in Covid numbers, with 67,084 cases being registered in the last 24 hours against 71,365 recorded during the preceding same period.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the country registered 1,241 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,06,520.
The active cases stand at 1.86%, taking the cumulative toll to 7,90,789.
The country’s daily positivity rate is at 4.44% and the Weekly Positivity Rate is stand at 6.58%.
Nearly 1,67,882 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,11,80,751, the Ministry said.
The country administered 171.28 crore vaccine doses so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
Around 15,11,321 covid tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, with this the total test conducted across the country has reached 74.61 crore.
