New Delhi (NVI): India reported a major reduction in the daily Covid numbers today, with 2,81,386 new cases being recorded in the last 24 hours against 3,11,170 cases the previous day.
The death toll during last 24 hours was
4,106 against 4,077 recorded in the previous 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
On Saturday last, 3,26,098 new COVID cases were reported along with 3,890 deaths during a period of 24 hours.
The previous day, the country reported 3,43,144 new Covid cases and 4,000 deaths in 24 hours.
A day earlier, 3,62,727 new COVID cases and 4,120 deaths were reported in the country during a span of 24 hours.
The total active cases now are 35,16,997 and the cumulative death toll is 2,74,390.
