India’s single-day Covid cases dip to 25,072, deaths 389

New Delhi: India recorded 25,072 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest in 160 days, the Union Health Ministry said today.

The country recorded 375 fatalities in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative death toll to 4,34,756, the Ministry said.

Nearly 44,157 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, with this increase the cumulative recoveries gone up to 3,16,80,626, it said.

Yesterday, the country reported 30,948 new COVID-19 cases and 403 deaths in 24 hours.

On Saturday, the country recorded 34,457 fresh COVID-19 cases and 375 deaths in 24 hours.

At least 36,571 new cases of corona and 540 deaths in the country in 24 hours were reported on Friday.

On Thursday, the government reported 36,401 fresh COVID-19 cases and 530 deaths in 24 hours.

The previous day report said 35,178 COVID-19 cases and 440 deaths were registered in 24 hours.

On Tuesday, the country reported 25,166 fresh Covid cases, the lowest in 154 days and 437 deaths in 24 hours.

A day earlier, 32,937 COVID-19 cases and 417 deaths in 24 hours were reported from across the country.

On Sunday last, the country reported 35,499 COVID-19 cases and 447 deaths in 24 hours.
