India’s single day COVID cases dip to 25,166, deaths 437

New Delhi: India recorded 25,166 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest in 154 days, the Union Health Ministry said today.

The country recorded 437 fatalities in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative death toll to 4,31,642, the Ministry said.

The country’s total active cases now are 3,69,846, which is the lowest in 146 days, it said.

Nearly 36,830 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,448,754. The country’s recovery rate is now at 97.51%, it said.

Yesterday, the country recorded 32,937 COVID-19 cases and 417 deaths in 24 hours.

On Sunday, the country recorded 35,499 COVID-19 cases and 447 deaths in 24 hours.

On Saturday last, the country recorded 38,667 COVID-19 cases and 478 deaths in 24 hours.

On Friday last, the country recorded 40,120 COVID-19 cases and 585 deaths in 24 hours.

On Thursday, the country recorded 41,195 COVID-19 cases and 490 deaths in 24 hours.

On Wednesday, the country recorded 38,353 COVID-19 cases and 497 deaths in 24 hours.
