India’s single-day COVID cases dip to 38,079, deaths 560

New Delhi: India recorded 38,079 fresh COVID-19 cases and 560 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.

With this increase, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the country has gone up to 4,24,025 while the cumulative death toll has reached 4,13,091.

The recovery rate has risen to 97.31% with nearly 43,916 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

The cumulative number of recoveries now stands at 3,02,27,792, the Health Ministry said.

Yesterday, the country recorded 38,949 fresh COVID-19 cases and 542 deaths in 24 hours.

On Thursday, the country recorded 41,806 fresh COVID-19 cases and 581 deaths in 24 hours.

On Wednesday, the country recorded 38,792 new COVID-19 cases and 624 deaths in 24 hours.

On Tuesday, the country reported 31,443 fresh COVID-19 cases, the lowest in 118 days.

On Monday, the country recorded 37,154 fresh COVID-19 cases and 724 deaths in 24 hours.

On Sunday, the country recorded 41,506 COVID-19 cases and 895 deaths in 24 hours.
