New Delhi: India again reported less than 20,000 fresh Covid cases in a day as the
country registered 18,166 new infections cases along with 214 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The total active cases today stood at 2,30,971 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,50,589.
Over the last several days, the number of single-day Covid cases has remained around 20,000.
The single-day figure reported on Friday was 21,257 along with 271 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
The previous day, the country recorded 22,431 COVID-19 cases and 318 deaths in 24 hours.
A day earlier, the country recorded 18,833 fresh COVID-19 cases and 278 deaths in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, 18,833 fresh COVID-19 cases and 278 deaths were reported in 24 hours.
The previous day, the country reported 18,346 fresh COVID-19 cases and 263 deaths in 24 hours.
