New Delhi (NVI): India’s cumulative death toll due to Covid-19 crossed the 3 lakh mark today as 4,454 new single day fatalities were reported along with 2,22,315 fresh cases.
The total active Covid cases now stand at 27,20,716, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The total death toll due to the deadly pandemic since its start reached 3,03,720, it said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 2,40,842 new Covid19 cases & 3,741 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
On Saturday last, the country reported 2,57,299 new COVID-19 cases and 4,194 deaths in 24 hours.
A day earlier, 2,59,591 new COVID-19 cases and 4,209 deaths were reported during period of 24 hours.
The previous day, 2,76,110 new COVID-19 cases and 3,874 deaths were reported during 24 hours.
