Jammu, Mar 10 (NVI): One terrorist was killed after the Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jhangar area of Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
According to officials, acting on credible intelligence inputs regarding the movement of two terrorists, alert troops detected suspicious movement in the area around 3 pm.
The troops responded with swift action and engaged the infiltrators, leading to an exchange of fire in which one Pakistani-sponsored terrorist was killed, successfully foiling the infiltration attempt.(NVI)
