Israel pays homage to victims of Mumbai terror attacks

New Delhi (NVI): Israel stands with people of India and remembers the victims who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the Israel Embassy in India today said.

The Embassy took to Twitter and wrote, “Today, Israel stands with the people of India in memory of all those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack 12 years ago.”

It also shared the photo of the memorial wall at Chabad-Nariman House, Mumbai, listing the names of all the victims.

Israeli Ambassador in India, Ron Malka also paid tributes to the victims who lost their lives.

Taking to Twitter, Malka said, “Today we remember the victims of the terrible Mumbai Terror Attack of 26/11, which targeted citizens of India, Israel and the world. This painful chapter in our shared history only strengthens our bond and commitment to stop global terrorism together.”

Meanwhile, Israelis are also holding various ceremonies to pay respects to the victims of the terror attack, according to media reports.

At least 166 people, including six Israeli Jews at the Chabad House, were killed and over 300 others were injured in the attacks which began on November 26, 2008.
