J&K: LG invites Gujarati businessmen to invest in UT; 35 MoUs inked

Ahmedabad (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu today called upon Gujarati businessmen to explore investment opportunities in the Union Territory, asserting that industrial barriers had been removed in J&K, paving way for a plethora of chances to bank upon.

“Gujarati businessmen are known worldwide for their business skills and should also explore the vast investment opportunities in Jammu & Kashmir,” Murmu said in an event held in Ahmedabad today.

While addressing an event jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Government of J&K here, Murmu said that the upcoming J&K Global Investors Summit will open new gates for industry leaders, while focussing on businessmen from Gujarat and lauding them for their entrepreneurial skills.

The Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has drawn the interest of investors, corporates, business owners across India for the upcoming Jammu Kashmir Global Investors Summit.

Top business houses of Gujarat including Rasna, Cadila, Ambuja Group, Amul, Adani, Suzlon, Abellon Clean Energy, and many others participated in the interaction here.
