Ramban (Jammu), July 18 (NVI) : As terrorists who carried out attacks in Doda district of Jammu region remain at large, an alert has been sounded in the neighbouring Ramban district, officials said.
The alert has been sounded in Ramban considering the possibility that the terrorists may cross into this district since a massive search operation has been launched in Doda district.
Ramban, a mountainous area, is located almost midway between Jammu and Kashmir and the National Highway passes through this district.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police and other forces have been deployed and sansitised to tackle any eventuality.
Doda has witnessed two major terror attacks since June 12, with the one on July 15 claiming lives of 4 Army men, including a Captain.
Since then, a massive hunt has been launched to track down the terrorists.
