JK Assembly Elections: BJP Candidates File Nomination Papers in Kashmir

Pulwama, Aug 27 (NVI): In a significant political development, two Bhartiya Janta Party candidates Arshid Ahmad Bhat and Showkat Gayoor officially filed their nominations for the upcoming assembly elections for the Rajpora and Pampore constituencies respectively, here on Tuesday.

The nomination process of the two nominated candidates took place at the Additional Deputy Commissioner’s (ADC) Office in Dangerpora, Pulwama, where they were accompanied by BJP National Executive Member and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi. The event was marked by a strong turnout of party supporters and leaders, who gathered to show their support for the candidates.

Arshid Bhat, a well-known BJP leader, has been a staunch advocate for development and progress in the Rajpora Constituency. Showkat Gayoor, a prominent figure in Pampore, has also been at the forefront of community issues, making his candidacy a critical one for the BJP.
