Srinagar (NVI): Security Forces today busted a militant hideout and have recovered large cache of arms and ammunition from it in Hari Buddha area of J&K’s Poonch region.
Sources said that a joint search operation was launched by security forces including soldiers from 16 Rashtriya Rifles, 183 Battalion BSF and Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police in Hari Buddha area.
During the operation, a hideout was found in the forest area from where one AK-47 rifle, 3 magazines, 3 Chinese pistols, 5 pistol magazines, 4 hand-grenades, 33 pistol rounds and a radio-set were recovered.
An Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) and a wireless set were also found at the hideout. The search is ongoing in the area.
