Srinagar (NVI): A terrorist has been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in Malbagh area of Srinagar, J&K police said.
A CRPF jawan and a policeman have also been injured in the gunbattle, they said.
“#MalbaghEncounterUpdate: So far one #unidentified #terrorist killed. Operation going on. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir zone police tweeted.
Unidentified militants have taken shelter in a school building in the area, according to security officials.
The encounter broke out at the Malbagh area on the outskirts of Srinagar late today, security officials said.
