New Delhi (NVI): Suspected terrorists triggered off a low intensity improvised explosive device (IED) in Bijbhera area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district today.
According to the reports, there was no loss of life or injury reported in the explosion which took place in area of the Bijbhera.
The small sized IED was planted inside a tipper vehicle by terrorists that was parked in the Pazalpora locality in Bijbehara. During the blast, several vehicles were damaged sound of which was heard in the entire area, reports said.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off and search operation has been launched by the security forces to nab the attackers.
