The incident took place early in the morning in Surankot area of Poonch district.
A hunt was immediately launched to track down the terrorists who carried out the attack.
This latest attack is part of a concerning trend of rising militant activity in the region, particularly in Poonch and Rajouri districts, which have witnessed several targeted assaults in recent months.
