Medicines and eatables recovered from site where Pakistani terrorist Moosa was killed

Budgam, Oct 4 (NVI) : After killing Pakistani terrorist Hashim Moosa in an encounter in Budgam district of Kashmir, security forces have recovered from the site a bag containing medicines and eatables which apparently belonged to him.

Moosa or Musa Fauji, a commander of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist outfit, was killed in a forest area of Doodhpathri in Budgam district on September 29.

Police said the recovery is being examined as part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the presence of the slain terrorist in the area and the possible network that provided him logistical support.

Investigators are probing the origin of the items, how they reached the location and the possible involvement of overground workers and other associates, police said.

The recovery is part of the investigation in connection with FIR No. 181/2026 registered at Khansahib police station under relevant provisions of law, they said.

Further investigation is underway to identify and establish the role of those allegedly linked to the suspected logistical support network, police added.—(NVI)
