Kashmir: Pakistani terrorist killed in encounter, 3 flee

Srinagar: A Pakistani terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit was killed tonight in an encounter with security forces in Kashmir while 2 other foreign terrorists and a local terrorist managed to escape the dragnet, police said.

The encounter took place in Panipora forest of Zaloora area in Sopore district.

Police siad a Pakistani terrorist, identified as Hanzalla of Lahore, was killed in the encounter.

One AK rifle, 05 magazines along with ammunition were recovered from the site, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said.

Two foreign terrorists and their local associate escaped the cordon, police said, adding a hunt is underway to track them down.
