Kashmir: Terrorists target labourers from Bihar; one killed, 2 injured

Srinagar: Pakistan-backed terrorists tonight killed a labourer hailing from Bihar and injured 2 others of the same state in a grenade attack in South Kashmir, police said.

The terror attack, on the eve of 3rd anniversary of revocation of Article 370 in J&K, took place in Gadoora area of Pulwama district.

#Terrorists hurled grenade on outside labourers at Gadoora area of #Pulwama,” police said in a tweet.

“In this #terror incident, one labourer died and two others were injured. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” it added.
In subsequent tweet, the police said the deceased labourer has been identified as Mohd Mumtaz of Sakwa Parsa in Bihar.

The injured have been identified as Mohd Arif & Mohd Majbool, residents of Rampor in Bihar, it said.

Both are stable, it added.
