Srinagar: Indian security forces today thwarted an attempt by a group of terrorists to sneak into Kashmir from Pakistan-occupied part of Kashmir, killing 2 of them near the Line of Control (LoC).
According to the latest information, a search operation was continuing in the area for more terrorists who might be still around.
The infiltration bid was scuttled through a joint effort by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police
“Two (02) #terrorists have been #neutralised in a joint operation of Army and Kupwara Police in Dobanar Machhal area (LoC) of #Kupwara district. Search still continues,” the Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
It gave no further details.
