Kathua, Apr 28 (NVI): A Special Police Officer (SPO) was found unconscious after allegedly hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside his residence in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, officials said on Tuesday.
The individual, in Mahanpur tehsil, was currently posted at PCP Mahanpur in the police department.
Officials said was found hanging inside his home and was immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility after being discovered unconscious.
On receiving the information, a police team from Billawar police station rushed to the spot and initiated necessary proceedings.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, officials added.(NVI)
