Jammu, Jan 17(NVI): The Republic Day celebrations in Jammu and Kashmir are set to be a grand affair, with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha presiding over the main function at MA Stadium in Jammu, where he will also take the ceremonial salute.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has been invited as the chief guest, marking his prominent role in this year’s celebrations.
The event will witness high-profile participation from the government’s top brass, as Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary and Cabinet Ministers Javid Ahmad Dar, Sakina Itto, Satish Sharma, and Javed Rana will take the salute at Republic Day functions across key districts, including Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kathua, and Udhampur.
