Jammu, June 8 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday congratulated senior joint replacement surgeon Dr. Vikas Padha and his team for successfully completing 100 joint replacement surgeries on patients from remote areas of Poonch and Rajouri under the Ayushman Bharat SEHAT Scheme.
Dr. Padha, a senior joint replacement surgeon at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, called on the Lieutenant Governor and apprised him about the milestone achieved through the healthcare initiative.
The Lieutenant Governor lauded the efforts of Dr. Padha and his medical team in extending advanced healthcare services to people living in far-flung areas and wished them continued success in their service to society.
The surgeries were carried out under the Ayushman Bharat SEHAT Scheme, which provides health insurance coverage and access to quality medical treatment for eligible beneficiaries across Jammu and Kashmir.(NVI)
