Srinagar, Aug 02 (NVI):- The Meteorological department of J&K on Friday said that there are chances moderate rainfall in Jammu & Kashmir on 3-4 August.
Director Meteorological Department Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that on 2nd August, there is a possibility of a brief spell of Rain/thundershower at scattered places of Kashmir Division and light to moderate rain/thundershower at most places of Jammu Division.
He said that on 3-4th August there are chances of generally cloudy with spells of intermittent light to moderate rain thundershower at many places of Kashmir Division and most places of Jammu Division.
From 5-7th August, there are chances of spell of rain/thundershower at scattered places of Kashmir Division & widespread places of Jammu Division.
Between 8-11th August, there are chances of the spell of rain/thundershower at scattered places.
He said that there are chances of intense showers for a brief period with the possibility of flash floods/Cloud bursts/Landslides/Mudslides and shooting stones over vulnerable places of J&K and heavy rainfall at few places of Jammu Division during next 4 days and isolated heavy rain over Kashmir Division on 3rd and 4th August.
He advised public to avoid roaming close to the water bodies during this period.(News Vibes of India)
