New Delhi (NVI): The reported number of single day Covid cases in India dropped below 2 lakh, with 1,96,427 new cases being recorded.
The single day deaths also showed a decline with 3,511 fatalities being reported in last 24 hrs, according to the Union Health Ministry.
Yesterday, 4,454 new single day fatalities were reported along with 2,22,315 fresh cases.
The total death toll now stands at 3,07,231 and the cumulative active cases are 25,86,782.
On Sunday, dthe country recorded 2,40,842 new Covid19 cases & 3,741 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
