Man, who crossed LoC by mistake, handed over to Pak by Indian Army

New Delhi (NVI): A resident of Pakistan occupied Kashmir who had accidently crossed the Line of Control (LoC) to India, was repatriated today.

According to the information, a man named Ghulam Qadir, resident of Village Ghim in Nikial, PoK crossed border over to Indian territory on April 11, 2021.

Earlier in the day, he was handed over to the Pakistan Army at Poonch-Rawalakot Crossing Point.

“On 15 April 2021 at about 1155 hours, Mr Ghulam Qadir s/o Mohammad Din, resident of Village Ghim in Nikial, (Pakistan Occupied Jammu & Kashmir) who crossed over to India on 11 April 2021, was handed over to Pakistan Authorities on humanitarian grounds at Poonch-Rawalakot crossing point,” an official said.
