Minor non-local boy’s body retrieved from Jhelum in Anantnag

Anantnag, Aug 17 (NVI): The body of a minor boy was retrieved from Jhelum river in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

An official said that a rescue search operation was launched by SDRF component Anantnag on 13 Aug to retrieve the body of a non-local minor boy. The boy drowned while having a bath in river Jhelum at Donipora Sangam Anantnag on 13 August. Body of the boy has been retrieved after arduous efforts by SDRF.

The minor boy has been identified as Muneer-Ul-Islam (14) son of Babu Ali  resident of Tipu Mari in Assam.

Meanwhile police have already taken up investigation in this regard.                          (News Vibes of India)
