Kulgam, Oct 30 (NVI): The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Shopian unit on Wednesday retrieved the body of Srinagar resident from Aharbal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
A police official told News Vibes of India-(NVI) that body of Srinagar resident was retrieved from a river near Hutmate, one kilometer downstream from Aharbal.
He identified the deceased as Adil Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad from Nayid Pora, Rainawari.
The body, partly decomposed, was discovered during a search operation and has now been handed over to local authorities for further legal proceedings, he said.
Adil had been reported missing since September 30, 2024, the official said adding that Local police are conducting further investigations into the case. (News Vibes of India)
